Board

GAIM is governed by its board. The Academy's day-to-day work is carried out by five working teams.

Working teams

Each team works on one area of the Academy and has a team lead.

  • Academic team

    Preparing and presenting Morning Reports, and creating or reviewing other academic material (for example flowcharts, guidelines, recommendations and research).

  • Evaluation and quality team

    Quality control of presentations and academic material, and analysis of feedback.

  • Communications team

    Reaching out to residents and other parts of the medical community, and managing social media and how information is shared.

  • Legal team

    Handling the legal side of registering and maintaining the organization, and drafting internal regulations.

  • Operations team

    Planning, recording and archiving meetings, and time management.
